15 August 2016 Dear reporters around the world:
Greetings, I am Man Hee Lee, the peace advocate and the chairman of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL).
It is my pleasure to inform you that HWPL will be celebrating the second anniversary of the World Alliance of Religions’ Peace (WARP) Summit. Two years ago, former and current heads of state, legal professionals as well as political leaders pledged to work towards the implementation of the international law on the cessation of war, while religious leaders and representatives pledged to unite all religions as one. Furthermore, heads of various organizations from around the world also pledged to support the two movements. With heaven and earth as witnesses, these pledges were made in the sight of God and all people of the world.
Today, two years since the pledges have been made, the HWPL International Law Peace Committee sent the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) to heads of state around the world, and religious leaders are actively meeting at HWPL WARP Offices to compare religious texts. Also, schools around the world are being designated as HWPL Peace Academies, and youth organizations of each nation are joining the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) affiliated with HWPL. In addition, 3.6 billion women around the world are uniting with the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG).
All this is the fruit of the seed that the reporters have diligently sown. The media has a vital role in bringing about peace and the cessation of war Mankind is standing at the crossroads between extinction and life. Thus, the world will stand upright and be saved through your sincere effort as reporters. Let us become one and work together to call on heads of state around the world to sign their support for the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW).
Let us meet joyfully in Korea on September 18th. Thank you.
Sincerely, Man Hee Lee,
Peace Advocate Heavenly Culture,
World Peace, Restoration of Light
